NIGHT OF THE DEAD
You have traveled all day along a busy dirt road by horse, and it is around nightfall that you reach your destination of The Green Griffon Inn.
Looking forward to a good nights rest you take your meal alone in the common room, noting some interesting travelers present that night.
You then retire to your room for a fitful night sleep.
Or so you thought...

Making your way to the common room, you see a tall, powerfully built man organizing the defenses of the Inn, barricading up windows and doors.
He tells you to get on a door and guard it, but you know that a siege of the inn can be avoided by cutting off the head of the snake - by killing the necromancer responsible for raising all the undead.
He seems to agree with you, but is insistent on fortifying the Inn.
Défi narratif : Convince Captain Myles to join you
CR 9 (Candor) against the hero
Pass: Captain Myles Joins you as a companion
Fail: He shakes his head and stays, coordinating the defenses of the Inn.

The path of the undead is easy to follow, as they have made no attempt to hide their tracks.
It leads you to an ancient graveyard, the rain falling heavily as you make your way through the rows of tombstones.
In a clearing besides two mausoleums in a grotesque circle of zombies is one larger undead with sinister evil glowing green light coming from its eyes and mouth, a villager is brought forward into the circle before it.
You watch as the poor villager is grabbed and drained of life before your very eyes.
"Now bring me that one!" it rasps and points directly at you!

As you fell the last of Undead, the wight slowly disintegrates before you, the sinister green light fading, but not before it rasps out "Mortibris will have you all, you are all doomed!"
Not liking the ominous words, you rush back to the Inn with the few villagers you were fortunate enough to spare a grisly fate.
The rain is pouring torrentially now, with the occasional flash of lightning, as you reach the Inn, you can see the front door has been broken down, splintered wood litter the floor.
